Job Summary
Review physician orders and enter patient medication orders into the pharmacy system while managing assigned workstations to support the team. Process and fill orders, maintain compliance, and deliver a quality pharmacy experience for patients and providers by working directly with the pharmacist. Maintain all assigned tasks to ensure efficient operations and adapt to varied patient needs. As an employee-owner, you receive company stock at no cost through our ESOP. Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy
- 2+ years of recent pharmacy experience
- Able to type >45 wpm
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to be a team player and promote a positive team environment
- Understanding of workflow processes and ability to adapt accordingly to changes
- Flexible and proactive to meet varied patient needs
- Self-Motivated and able to work autonomously to ensure completion of tasks
- Able to collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Desired Qualifications
- billing experience and prior authorization knowledge preferred
- Experience with PioneerRx, FrameworkLTC, or a similar system preferred
