Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role supporting pharmacists in prescription processing, inventory management, and customer service. Responsibilities include receiving/refilling prescriptions, verifying details, preparing medications, counseling patients, managing inventory and documentation, training new staff, and operating billing, reporting, and inventory systems. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, active Certified Pharmacy Technician status, Texas TSBP registration, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. Expect standing for extended periods, some lifting, and a moderate physical workload in a indoor pharmacy setting with potential travel.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Pharmacy Technician with up-to-date continuing education
- Registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP)
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish
- Strong ethics and professionalism
- Organized, self-motivated, team player
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Proficient in basic math
