Job Summary
Facilitate personal training sessions, small group training, or team training while meeting sales and service goals. Provide excellent customer service by completing new member programs and following up to ensure expectations are met. Achieve revenue targets through self-promotion, lead consultations, and selling personal training packages. Serve as a knowledgeable resource for fitness and nutrition education, schedule sessions, and maintain open communication with management and team members. Uphold company standards by ensuring the club remains clean, safe, and welcoming. Requires current Personal Training certification, CPR/AED certification within 30 days, and ability to work independently in a busy environment. Earn $24–$40 per session hour plus incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for fitness/health/wellness
- Current Personal Training certification from an approved accredited program
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with interruptions, changing priorities and a busy work environment with tight deadlines
- Self-motivated with high energy with a positive attitude
- Self-managing with the ability to work independently to accomplish tasks
- Displays good judgment, confidentiality and diplomacy in handling important company information and communicating with others
- CPR/AED certification required first 30 days of hire
- High regard and propensity for safety
- Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds
