Job Summary
Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans while leading diverse group exercise classes for various fitness levels. Conduct fitness assessments, prescribe personalized exercise plans, and design effective programs for clients, including high-risk populations. Offer one-on-one consultations, personalized training, and motivation to help clients succeed in their fitness journeys. Assist in covering tasks that implement incentive, health promotion, and other specialty programs to drive engagement. Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field
- Current Personal Trainer certification from a nationally accredited industry association such as NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE
- Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Proven experience in leading and teaching group exercise classes
- Minimum of 1+ years of industry experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Outgoing personality
- Strong customer service abilities
- Talent for building lasting client relationships
