Job Summary
Advocate for probation-connected youth and families within a Full Service Partnership program, conducting home and school visits to build trust, identify needs, connect youth and families to resources, and help youth articulate rights and goals. Collaborate with teams to track outcomes, participate in meetings/trainings, and support youths’ stability, academic participation, and future employment opportunities. Requires lived experience with juvenile justice/probation or foster care, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be 21-35 years old and have completed high school or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21-35 years of age
- Must have successfully completed twelfth grade (or the equivalent of completing twelfth grade)
- PLUS at least one (1) year of responsible work experience
- PLUS have lived experience or received services from the juvenile justice system, probation systems, or foster care system
- Please note: Work, professional, or volunteer experience does not qualify as personal, lived experience
- Must have strong communication, networking, and organizational skills
- Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Maintain a variety of online recordkeeping and documentation processes and systems, ensuring all relevant confidentiality and privacy requirements are met
