Job Summary
Provide peer support services, case management, and referral coordination across CRP programs while identifying client needs and connecting them with appropriate resources. Deliver recovery education tailored to every stage of the journey, assess needs, and develop individualized recovery and discharge plans. Assist with Intensive Outpatient Program group facilitation, administer naloxone when needed, and provide community-based crisis intervention, de-escalation, screening, assessments, and referrals. Collaborate closely with clinical teams to promote whole-person, recovery-oriented care and complete all required documentation in the electronic health record within 24 hours of services.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW) certification
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Lived experience in recovery and the ability to share that experience authentically
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to support individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff, community partners, and clients alike
- Availability for evenings and weekends as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of CPSW experience
