Job Summary
Provide education, support, and interventions assisting clients' recovery from mental health and substance use disorder through personal and educational perspectives. Deliver group and individual counseling, case management, advocacy, and outreach to clients and families. Conduct case consultation, crisis intervention, discharge placement, and targeted case management to address basic needs and symptom management. Complete accurate documentation and perform field-based services as required. Facilitate placement including pre-placement visits and transportation. Maintain confidentiality and participate in scheduled program meetings. Shift coverage includes part of the on-call team.
Required Qualifications
- Peer Specialist Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Life experience in mental health or SUD recovery or family
- Willingness to disclose life experience
- Valid CA driver's license
- Current auto insurance per contract requirements
- Cultural competency understanding

- Bilingual
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- EHR software
