Job Summary
Certified Peer Specialist providing individualized peer appointments and co-facilitation of recovery-oriented groups; documents progress notes, goal plans, and assessments; collaborates with peers, co-workers, and community resources; supports Strength Based Assessments and person-centered goal planning within Medical Assistance regulations; maintains active certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board; adheres to confidentiality and ethics; participates in weekly supervision; performs administrative tasks as needed; utilizes computer/tech tools (Word, Outlook, Zoom) for documenting and communicating progress; demonstrates recovery-focused, empathetic engagement to empower peers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- 3 year clear driving record
- Certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (Certified Peer Specialist)
- Completion of Certified Peer Specialist training curriculum
- Criminal background check, drug screen, physical, child abuse and FBI clearances
