Job Summary
Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist responsible for transporting clients between recovery housing, treatment programming, court appointments, and community resources, while providing individual and group peer support, facilitating recovery-related activities and workshops, and maintaining client records in a confidential manner. The role involves building supportive relationships using lived experience, navigating recovery resources, and ensuring timely transportation schedules. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., in Toledo, OH.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (CPRS) or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate agency vehicles and transport multiple clients
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries while utilizing lived experience appropriately
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
