Job Summary
Engage, inspire, and facilitate meaningful conversations with members to explore and meet recovery goals; provide consultation to the Telecare team to promote Recovery Culture per RCCS; respond to critical situations using high-level engagement and de-escalation to maintain a least restrictive environment. This full-time PM shift (Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm) operates within a 24/7 RTC/MHRC serving individuals identified as IST or court-ordered to treatment, with up to 30 residential beds. The role requires Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification within 120 days of hire, a HS diploma or GED (or Bachelor's in psychology/social science), and driving clients using the company vehicle. Required Qualifications
- 2 Years full time experience, or part-time equivalent, working in a mental health program serving persons with severe and persistent mental disabilities, or a Bachelor's degree with a major in psychology, social work, or behavioral science.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA must be obtained within 120 days of your date of hire and maintained throughout employment.
- Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care
- Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
