Job Summary
Engage members served in meaningful conversations to explore and meet their own recovery goals while providing consultation to promote Telecare's Recovery Culture. Respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills to support a least restrictive environment for members facing mental health or addiction emergencies. Full-time AM shifts run Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Starting wage is $23.00 with geographic differentials applied. This role requires Peer Certification, one year of behavioral health experience, and the ability to drive clients to appointments using a personal vehicle. Telecare delivers effective behavioral health services through a mobile triage and field-based case management approach, focusing on resident wellness checks, skill building, and housing stabilization in permanent supportive and transitional housing locations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Peer Certification
- One (1) year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members served with behavioral health challenges
- Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care
- Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training
- Valid and current driver's license
- Personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups
- Full-Time employment
- AM Shifts (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Monday - Friday schedule
