Job Summary
Facilitate groups and activities promoting recovery through education, advocacy, and positive role modeling while assisting clients in articulating personal goals and identifying barriers. Model a positive attitude and mutual respect to encourage client involvement in the center, including group preparation, meal preparation, and providing transportation via company van. Document peer progress in electronic medical records and attend all required trainings. Maintain confidentiality and program ethics while utilizing excellent communication skills and sharing personal recovery stories to assist others.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Lived Experience with Mental Illness/ Substance Use Disorder
- Minimum of one year of recovery
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of insurance
- F-endorsement
- CPRS Certification
- Completion of state-approved training program
- Basic computer literacy

- Be active in own recovery and model recovery in a positive way
