Job Summary
Process weekly and subcontractor certified payroll reports, including uploads, distribution, and folder maintenance. Provide customer support to prime contractors and subcontractors regarding payroll inquiries while monitoring emails for contract updates. Maintain project Excel sheets, assist with start-up paperwork, and handle Union Reports and Status Letters. Perform general office duties such as filing and copying, and manage data entry with high accuracy using MS Excel and Word. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of previous Payroll Union experience
- 2+ years of Data Entry experience
- Advanced MS Excel
- proficiency in MS Word
- Accurate 10-key by touch
- demonstrated data-entry accuracy
- Demonstrated customer service excellence
- professional, courteous phone skills
- Ability to successfully work on several tasks with similar timeframes and similar deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Strong aptitude for learning new systems and programs
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required by Supervisor or Manager
- Must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds
