Job Summary
Assist with patients' activities of daily living and support the overall plan of care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). Maintain high standards of professional ethics while communicating directly with the healthcare team, patients, and their families. Complete phlebotomy and EKG training within 90 days of hire if not covered by the core certification course. Requires active Patient Care Technician Certification (CPCT-A) and current American Heart Association BLS CPR certification. Salary ranges from $18.00 to $23.78 USD.
Required Qualifications
- Able to complete phlebotomy and EKG training if not a part of the core curriculum of the certification course within 90 days of hire
- Successful completion of Patient Care Technician training
- Active Patient Care Technician Certification
- CPCT-A
- Current American Heart Association, (AHA) BLS CPR (Basic Life Support) Certification
