Job Summary
Provides quality occupational therapy services under the supervision of the patient’s therapist of record, including evaluation, intervention and education, planning and implementation of treatment, discharge planning, and related documentation. Responsibilities include planning and organizing daily schedules to optimize treatment, applying standard treatment techniques for diagnosed conditions, maintaining supplies and equipment, ensuring clean/organized treatment areas, using appropriate tests/measurements for patient age and problems, developing and reevaluating measurable goals and treatment plans, and participating in related educational activities and outreach. Requires an associate degree from an accredited COTA program and Tennessee licensure; may involve call back and overtime as required. Vaccination compliance is part of the workplace policy.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from accredited Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant program
- License to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in the State of Tennessee
