Job Summary
Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist and implement individualized plans for short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents. Assist patients in improving activities of daily living, upper extremity function, mobility, and overall independence while monitoring progress and communicating changes to the supervising therapist. Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and compensatory techniques. Complete accurate documentation using Net Health and collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve optimal outcomes. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Desired Qualifications
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care experience
- Experience with Net Health
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Passion for delivering compassionate, resident-centered care
