Job Summary
Provide Occupational Therapy treatments and assessments for inpatient acute rehab and outpatient settings under the direction of a licensed OT. Implement individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, educate patients and families on activities and home programs, and maintain accurate documentation to support recovery and independence. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, supervise therapy aides/students as appropriate, and ensure a safe, functional environment. The role leverages diverse rehab specialties (neuro, orthopedic, hand therapy, lymphedema) and may involve leadership and mentorship opportunities; site offers 1:1 clinical mentorship and various professional-development benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Active OTA license in the state of California
- Current CPR certification.
