Job Summary
Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a school-based setting under the supervision of a licensed OT. Located in Gilbert, AZ, East Valley. Responsibilities include delivering individualized treatment programs for students based on IEPs, collaborating with the OT and interdisciplinary team, following guidance from the supervising OT, data collection and ongoing assessments, assisting with annual and triennial reviews, and maintaining thorough documentation with progress updates. Requirements include a current AZ COTA license (or eligibility) and an IVP fingerprint clearance card. Employment contingent on successful background check. PQI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Preferred: Experience in school or pediatric clinical settings with children facing learning or social-emotional challenges
- Familiarity with IEPs, treatment planning, and behavior interventions
