Job Summary
Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) needed to provide OT services to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Responsibilities include carrying out treatment plans as designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist, assisting in assessment and program planning, documenting daily care per established guidelines, and communicating responses to treatment interventions to residents, families, and team members. Requires an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy, successful completion of the NBCOT/NCOTA certification, current state licensure or licensure eligibility, and 0-3 years of long-term care experience. Must comply with AHCA Care Provider Background Screening and related policies. Located in Kissimmee, FL (onsite at Avante facility).
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Successful completion of the National Certification for OT A
- Current state licensure or license eligible
- 0-3 years of long-term care experience
- Background Screening through AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
