Job Summary
Administer participant treatment programs and assist with vital signs, range of motion, and strength testing under the direction of an occupational therapist. Coordinate rehabilitation activities, manage treatment scheduling and billing, and maintain equipment logs while delivering documented interventions to promote muscle re-education, cognitive function, and independence in daily living activities. Track condition updates for the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care for frail and elderly populations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from Accredited Program
- Valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant License, or proof of License eligibility
- Reliable means of transportation
- Minimum of two (2) years of Occupational Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population
- Occupational Therapy Assistant knowledge necessary to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs
