Job Summary
Conduct 1:1 patient care to improve function, ADL, and IADLs by following established care plans. Educate patients, family members, and representatives on rehabilitative care and activities supporting independent living. Document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet while working alongside an experienced Occupational Therapist. Travel throughout the assigned coverage area as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering skilled nursing and rehabilitative care at home.
Required Qualifications
- Be licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Colorado
- Have graduated from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA
- Have two years of appropriate experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
- Have at least one year of work experience supervised by a qualified Occupational Therapist
- Be willing and able to travel in assigned territory
