Job Summary
Conduct Occupational Therapy evaluations, write instructional objectives, and maintain records for assigned scholars under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist. Provide 1:1 support, classroom group instruction, and adaptive equipment modifications for students with disabilities in special education programs. Modify instructional materials, organize job skills, and interact with teachers, parents, and the community while complying with federal and district policies. Attend team meetings and complete required training. Regular on-time in-person attendance is required.
Required Qualifications
- completed at least two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education (60 Credits)
- obtained an associate's or higher degree
- achieved a passing score on an MDE approved assessment
- COTA certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Licensed as a COTA by the State of Michigan
- Regular on time and in person attendance
