Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care for inpatients and outpatients by reviewing history and data before initiating treatments. Collaborate with therapists on care plans, assist patients and families in discharge planning, and actively participate in patient team and family conferences. Document all interactions, treatment implementations, and patient responses accurately within the EMR while maintaining department records. Serve as a resource for peers, mentor colleagues, and liaise with educational institutions to enhance professional development. Ensure compliance with state regulations, safety protocols, and mandatory training modules while meeting productivity goals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Therapist Assistant Program
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- Current certification in the State of Arizona for the discipline
- Fingerprint Clearance Card application number
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Employee will obtain and maintain appropriate clinical competencies for the roles assigned by their departmental leader
- Understanding of computers
- Competence in using computers and basic software programs
Desired Qualifications
- Clinical documentation experience
