Job Summary
Provides pediatric occupational therapy services to patients under the direction of an occupational therapist, educates patients and families on plan of care, participates in multidisciplinary team meetings and process improvements, ensures documentation and infection control compliance, and supports care coordination. May drive for Driscoll Children’s Hospital business and work at alternate locations as needed. Requires an Associate’s degree as an OTA, active Texas licensure as an OTA, NBCOT certification, and CPR certification; on-call rotation and family-focused education are part of duties.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
- Current Texas Licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Current Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Current CPR certification (or will complete within 90 days upon hire)
