Job Summary
COTA provides direct assistance to an Occupational Therapist by developing and implementing treatment plans, administering prescribed activities and exercises, and documenting residents' progress in a skilled nursing setting. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, organized therapy environment, educating residents and families on home exercise programs, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting infection control and CQI activities. Requires an associate degree and current state licensure as a COTA; prior SNF or healthcare experience preferred. Schedule is Tue–Sat; per diem engagement.
