Job Summary
Provide quality ongoing therapy to all patients within the facility per physician's orders and perform treatment duties delegated by the therapist. Communicate resident progress to the therapist and attending physician, consult regarding changes in condition, and assist with resident/patient activities while maintaining department records per facility policy. Work as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Montrose, CO, reporting directly to the therapist and attending physician.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a Therapy Assistant accredited curriculum
- Eligible for certification and/or licensure per state regulations
- Is a registered assistant or is eligible for registration in the state of Colorado
- Ability to understand medical terminology and how it applies to Therapy in order to communicate with residents, staff and physicians, and to prepare meaningful reports
