Job Summary
Provide quality ongoing therapy to all patients within the facility per physician's orders and perform delegated therapy treatment and related duties. Communicate on an ongoing basis with the therapist, residents, and staff regarding the progress of designed programs, and assist with resident and patient-related activities while keeping department records as per facility policy. Consult with the therapist and physician regarding residents' changes of condition during treatment and report progress to the attending physician. This role supports a Medicare/Medicaid-certified home health care agency serving older adults in Montrose, CO, and surrounding counties, offering a purpose-driven environment for career growth within a supportive, team-oriented culture.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a Therapy Assistant accredited curriculum
- Eligible for certification and/or licensure per state regulations
- Is a registered assistant or is eligible for registration in the state of Colorado
- Ability to understand medical terminology and how it applies to Therapy in order to communicate with residents, staff and physicians, and to prepare meaningful reports
