Job Summary
Provide quality ongoing therapy to all patients within the facility per physician's orders and perform therapy treatments delegated by the therapist. Communicate with therapists, residents, and staff regarding resident progress and consult on changes in condition. Direct resident and patient care while assisting with related activities and maintaining department records per policy. This role supports the Home Health of Western Colorado's mission to serve older adults in Montrose, CO, and surrounding counties. The position offers a PRN schedule with a pay range of $28.68–$34.72 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a Therapy Assistant accredited curriculum
- Eligible for certification and/or licensure per state regulations
- Is a registered assistant or is eligible for registration in the state of Colorado
- Ability to understand medical terminology and how it applies to Therapy in order to communicate with residents, staff and physicians, and to prepare meaningful reports
