Job Summary
COTA provides quality ongoing therapy to residents within the Montrose, CO facility per physician orders. Assists the therapist with resident/patient activities, communicates progress to the therapist and attending physician, performs therapy treatment and related duties, and maintains department records per facility policy. Requires graduation from an accredited therapy assistant program and eligibility for Colorado certification/licensure. Part-time PRN role with benefits including health insurance, 403(b), PTO, and more. Pays $28.68-$34.72 per hour based on experience, with benefits and opportunities for growth. The position is in-person at a Montrose, CO facility with standard in-facility therapy responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a Therapy Assistant accredited curriculum
- Eligible for certification and/or licensure per state regulations
- Registered assistant or eligible for registration in the state of Colorado
- Ability to understand medical terminology and apply it to Therapy for resident/patient care
