Job Summary
Conduct 1:1 visits with patients to improve function, ADLs, and IADLs while following established care plans. Educate patients, family members, and representatives on rehabilitative care and activities supporting health, safety, and independent living. Partner with an experienced Occupational Therapist and accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet. Be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in Hawaii and willing to travel in the assigned territory.
Required Qualifications
- Be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in Hawaii
- Be willing and able to travel in assigned territory
- Have graduated from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Have two years of appropriate experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
- Have at least one year of work experience supervised by a qualified Occupational Therapist
