Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy services in school settings under the supervision of a licensed OT. Implement OT interventions aligned with IEP goals and support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills. Deliver therapy services in-person and/or via teletherapy, document student progress and therapy sessions, and collaborate with supervising OT, teachers, and school staff. Help students access classroom activities and routines, assist with preparing therapy materials, and maintain organized records while following district guidelines and compliance standards. Placement includes opportunities in Austin, San Antonio, and surrounding areas with flexible, part-time and PRN scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is a plus
