Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA

Assist occupational therapists in carrying out treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living training, and interventions to improve patient functional abilities. Observe and document patient responses to therapy, report findings to the supervising occupational therapist, and provide education to patients and families on home strategies. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and support therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress.
