Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA

Assist occupational therapists in carrying out treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living training, and adaptive techniques to improve patient functional abilities. Observe and maintain documentation of patient responses to therapy, report findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist, and provide education to patients and families on home strategies. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient evaluations and ensure comprehensive care. Requires current, valid state OTA licensure or certification and CPR certification.
