Job Summary
Conduct daily occupational therapy services for residents, utilizing prescriptive devices like electrical stimulation and ultrasound to support rehabilitation goals. Collaborate with medical staff and patients to establish effective treatment plans while maintaining strict confidentiality and safety protocols. Manage administrative tasks and public relations within a supportive, patient-focused rehab team dedicated to helping individuals resume their normal lives. Full-time and PRN opportunities available at our Zephyrhills facility.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of the academic requirements of an educational program for the occupational therapy assistant recognized by the Board of Occupational Therapy Practice
- Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as an occupational therapy assistant in the state of Florida
- Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in Occupational Therapy
- Member of state and national American Occupational Therapy Association
- Training in the use of prescriptive devices (electrical stimulation, ultrasound)
- Knowledge of Medicare and third party reimbursement
