Job Summary

Provide quality ongoing therapy to all participants of the Senior Community Care program under the direction of the Occupational Therapist. Assist with participant care planning, optimize function and safety, and communicate progress to staff and participants. Manage department records, coordinate OT service scheduling and mailing, and handle durable medical equipment inventory and distribution. Maintain strong rehab care practices while performing other duties as required. Work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm at a PACE provider serving individuals age 55 and older in Western Colorado.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Is a registered COTA in Colorado or is eligible for registration in the state of Colorado.
  • A minimum of one year's experience working with a frail or elderly population required.
  • Driver's License

Desired Qualifications

  • A minimum of one-year experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in a long-term care facility preferred.
  • Technical/other training or better in Pre-Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Occupational Therapist
