Job Summary
Provide quality ongoing therapy to all participants in the Senior CommUnity Care program and assist the Occupational Therapist with participant-related activities and direct care. Optimize function and safety among participants to ensure strong rehab care practice while assisting with care planning, scheduling, and transporting documents. Maintain department records and manage durable medical equipment inventory, distribution, and maintenance as needed. Work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm at an Eckert, CO campus serving individuals age 55 and older.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Is a registered COTA in Colorado or is eligible for registration in the state of Colorado.
- A minimum of one year's experience working with a frail or elderly population
- Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one-year experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in a long-term care facility preferred
- Technical/other training or better in Pre-Occupational Therapy or related field
