Job Summary
Conduct individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist while monitoring patient response and modifying treatment as indicated. Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures. Collaborate with an OT to adjust care plans for patients with complex needs and challenging diagnoses. Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services. Report directly to the Occupational Therapist to ensure comprehensive inpatient post-ICU services for chronic, critically ill patients.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Certified BLS
- Completion in first 90 days of employment
