Job Summary
Provide component of occupational therapy procedures under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist for adult to geriatric patients in inpatient rehabilitation. Assist patients in achieving maximum functional performance and adapting to daily living within capabilities. Record patient responses to treatment and report outcomes to the Occupational Therapist. Schedule includes Weekdays and PRN Weekend availability. Emphasis on documentation, communication, organization, and adherence to BLS requirements; opportunities for professional growth and competitive wage scale within a supportive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (online certification not acceptable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames
