Job Summary
Performs components of occupational therapy procedures under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist for patients aged 18 and older, including geriatric populations, in inpatient rehabilitation. Assists patients in achieving maximum functional performance, documents patient responses to treatment, and reports outcomes to the supervising OT. Requires current state OT Assistant licensure and BLS certification. PRN weekday and weekend availability with a competitive wage scale and comprehensive benefits. Strong communication, organizational, time-management, and critical-thinking skills are essential; inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (online certification not acceptable)
