Job Summary
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Brooklyn, NY — provide compassionate OT services within a home-care team. Responsibilities include assessing patients’ functional status, executing treatment plans, teaching/retraining patients in daily activities, fabricating/adapting splints and adaptive equipment, training on prosthetic/orthotic devices, maintaining clinical records, communicating with the care team and physicians, participating in discharge planning, and helping identify needs for additional home health services. Required Qualifications
- Licensed/regulated as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the practicing state
- Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
