Job Summary
Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising OT and maintain thorough, up-to-date treatment notes and goal data for each child. Develop home programs demonstrating developmental strategies for perceptual, motor, and sensory improvement as needed. Provide direction, training, and assistance to interns and volunteers assigned to the occupational therapy program. Attend staff and in-service meetings, occasionally leading portions of in-service training. Requires a Licensed COTA in California with pediatric experience. Flexible alternative work schedule available.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed COTA in California
- One or more years of clinical experience in a pediatric therapy setting
- Moderate physical effort (lift/carry/push up to 25 lbs)
- standing/walking
- occasional lifts supplies and/or equipment
- occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
- manual dexterity and mobility
