Job Summary
Conduct individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist for patients with complex needs and challenging diagnoses. Monitor patient response to treatment and modify sessions as indicated in collaboration with an OT. Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures. Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services. Report directly to the Occupational Therapist while maintaining current state licensure or eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment
