Job Summary
Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing while ensuring all interventions align with the established plan of care. Monitor patient responses to treatment modifications and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust directives as clinically appropriate. Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation that complies with state and federal regulatory requirements. Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Good standing with all licensing boards and regulatory agencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- SNF or long-term care experience preferred
- Familiarity with Net Health documentation a plus
