Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Deliver occupational therapy treatments under supervision, assisting residents with self-care, upper extremity function, coordination, balance, and daily living skills. Reinforce adaptive techniques, therapeutic exercises, and compensatory strategies established by the OT while monitoring performance and communicating progress to the therapy team. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout sessions focused on promoting safety and participation. This role offers direct interaction with both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents in a collaborative team environment.
