Job Summary
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a Long-Term Care setting, you will provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include carrying out established plans of care, assisting patients with daily living skills, fabricating splints and assistive devices, modifying patient environments, and educating patients and families on adaptive equipment. Timely documentation and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are essential to support patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
- current state COTA license

- LTC experience preferred
- knowledge of Medicare documentation
