Job Summary
Administer therapy services to patients requiring intermittent professional support, teaching patients, families, and the health care team while adhering to physician orders and the established plan of care. Perform duties as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in home health settings, ensuring all services align with clinical standards and safety protocols. Maintain a valid state driver's license, automobile liability insurance, and dependable transportation, plus hold current CPR certification. Requires graduation from an approved clinical education program, state licensure, and at least one year of experience as a licensed therapy assistant. Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of clinical education
- Must be licensed in the state where they currently practice
- Must have at least one year experience as a licensed therapy assistant
- Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device
- Must possess a valid state driver license
- Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
- Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition
- Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
- Must possess CPR certification
