Job Summary
Administer therapy services to patients requiring intermittent professional care, teaching patients, families, and the health care team while adhering to physician orders and the plan of care. Perform these duties in home settings with a valid state driver's license, dependable transportation, and automobile liability insurance. Maintain CPR certification and demonstrate basic technology skills, including mobile device operation. Full-time employment requires licensure in the state of practice and at least one year of experience as a licensed therapy assistant. Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred, and education from an approved clinical school is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of clinical education
- Must be licensed in the state where they currently practice
- Must have at least one year experience as a licensed therapy assistant
- Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device
- Must possess a valid state driver license
- Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
- Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition
- Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
- Must possess CPR certification
