Job Summary
Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT by implementing individualized treatment plans to support patient goals. Focus on activities of daily living, functional mobility, and independence while educating patients and families on adaptive techniques and safety strategies. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes and maintain accurate, timely documentation. This 13-week contract placement in a Skilled Nursing Facility offers competitive hourly pay plus housing and travel stipends for travelers. New grads are welcome, and the role supports professional growth within a supportive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate occupational therapy assistant
- Comfortable working in the SNF setting
- Quick learner who can adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- A team player with a positive attitude and a heart for patient care
- Active COTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Current TB test/results
- Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)
