Job Summary
Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT by implementing individualized treatment plans to support patient goals. Focus on activities of daily living, functional mobility, and independence while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes. Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and safety strategies, and maintain accurate and timely documentation. This role offers competitive pay including hourly rates plus housing and travel stipends for travelers, with a 13-week contract option or permanent placement in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate occupational therapy assistant
- Comfortable working in the SNF setting
- Quick learner who can adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- A team player with a positive attitude and a heart for patient care
- Active COTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Current TB test/results
- Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)
