Job Summary
Execute goal-oriented treatment plans and programs in coordination with other departments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Assess treatment progressions to identify deficiencies and adjust as needed, while participating in program development, quality assurance, and improvement efforts. Supervise and collaborate with rehab aides, techs, and students as assigned, and identify opportunities to improve quality of care and departmental operations. Adhere to all local, state, federal, and facility policies and procedures. This role requires standing, walking, and lifting objects or patients over 50 pounds daily. Join the Friendship Richfield Health Center team in Salem, VA, supporting over 1,500 residents across four campuses with a full continuum of care.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant License
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- Must be able to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day
- Must frequently lift or move objects and patients weighing over 50 pounds
